How It Started

Greenside Essentials has come a long way in just two years, and I want to share the story of how it all began. From a young age, I always had the ambition to build something of my own. In July 2024, that ambition turned into action. As an avid golfer, I knew I wanted to create a product that solved a real problem on the course. Golf towels stood out immediately as every golfer needs one, and I saw an opportunity to do it better. From there, I dove deep into finding the right supplier, navigating time zone differences and endless back-and-forth before finally landing on the perfect fit. What started as a plan to sell on Amazon quickly became something bigger. I wanted a brand I could truly call my own. While my first towels were in production, I built the website, and by the time the shipment arrived, Greenside Essentials was officially live.

 

The Wholesale Vision:

About a month in, the brand was gaining traction, but I was hungry to grow. Everything changed when I was at my home golf course. Walking through the pro shop and seeing all of the products available, I saw an opportunity to potentially get my towels into their shop. I went straight to the Director of Golf and proposed my vision. He loved the towels but  the only ask was a custom logo option. That conversation taught me everything about the wholesale process and sparked a new direction for the brand. I started to create custom catalogs for customers and offer different designs tailored to clubs. Shortly after, we landed our first major partnership with the NTPGA Junior League. I learned quickly that tournament gifting plays a big role in the industry, so I approached my local NTPGA tour. They loved my towel idea and placed an order on the spot. That momentum carried forward, and we've since partnered with Frisco Lakes, Idaho Falls CC, and Heritage Ranch CC, along with many more.

Expanding Our Product Line

For nearly two years, custom towels were our bread and butter. But the goal was always to grow. Recently, we launched our Eagles Landing collection; a hat line built around a bold, original logo crafted with our design team. Alongside that, we're introducing the Greenside Carrier for golf clubs in need of an elevated range experience. While spending time at the Fields Ranch range, I noticed they handed out bags to every player before their round. I saw a way to improve on that experience, brought the idea to their Director of Golf, and after months of testing and refinement, the Greenside Carrier was born. As of this writing, the range bags will be used by the end of May 2026.

 

What's Next

I'm about to graduate high school and head to college but Greenside Essentials isn't slowing down. If anything, the best is still ahead. I'm focused on expanding the product line, growing our wholesale partnerships, and building Greenside into a brand that makes a real mark on the golf world.
